My current interests in bioethics is clonings, in vitro fertilization and genetic engineering.
Basically the staff which are relates to birth or babies and children.
How human beings is created, exist is very interesting to me, because no one can say what is the truth.
Also I have discussed about brain death in ARW class today which was interesting in terms of what death is. People have different views in seeing death and life. Some says that if the person cannot communicate with the others, it does not mean that the person is existing. Is it true?
There are so many informations and opinions. I do not feel I have enough knowledge to create my own view point in it so that I would like to increase my knowledge and discuss about them with people who have different point of view.
In addition to this, bioethics can connects to the other areas of studies such as philosophy, economic, antholopology, international studies and so on. It is needed to establish clear, logical idea of my own; however, I would like to go through various ideas and opinions in order to extent my interests.
If you have some ideas of what is death and alive, let me share your ideas. That would be very helpful.
Thanks,

Hi, Miku
The definition of alive and death is difficult for me.
I think why the definition of alive and death is difficult.
I think it is because that human being can controll their lives with medicine and technology.
Medical treatment and medical machines can keep human being's lives even if they cannnot breathe by themselves or their brain is dead, and so on.
So, It is difficult for us to define what is alive and what is death.
I am also confusing about this topic and I do not have knowledge enough to have my own opinion about bioethics.
Sorry,
Yuuki
i found your essay very interesting! Topics about bioethics are so delicate and difficult, but i think it important to consider the topics because we the youth rarely think about our own lives serioudly. i.e, we are so young that death is something very far from our daily lives. considering the topic will widen our perspective.
for me, death means the condition in which we cannot consider anything seriously. Thus, we can die without getting diseases. The moment we stop thinking critically about something in our daily lives, we will mentally die.
